REQUIRED Lectures: - Returning EPICS students are required to attend the "What is New?" lecture (Week 1) and the final lecture (Week 15). - Team Leaders, Project Leaders, and Project Partner Liaisons are required to attend their respective meeting on Week 3 either during lecture or the make-up time. If you are a "New student" and fulfilling one of these roles, attend the role meeting and watch the Resource Lecture from Week 3 on video by the due date listed above. You will receive credit for both. |

Students registered for 1 credit must to attend a total of at least five lecture sessions, which must include all the required lectures. |

Students registered for 2 credits are required to attend a total of ten lectures/skills sessions, which must include all the required lectures. |

Students registered for 1 credit with
a documented conflict with the lecture hour are required to accrue
at least five (5) lecture credits via skills sessions and/or watching a
recorded lecture before the due date via the Video Server.
Students who have a class conflict with the scheduled EPICS lecture
time must document this to their TA or to the Program Coordinator in
the first week of the semester. |

sessions and/or watching a recorded lecture before the due date via the

| Attendance will be taken at all lectures/skills sessions and will be posted on the myEPICS system. Failure to attend the required number of sessions will affect your grade. Any corrections to the lecture attendance records must be reported to EPICS Attendance epics-attendance@ecn.purdue.edu within two week of attendance posting for that lecture. |
| Lecture attendance credit may be earned by watching the videotape of a lecture via the EPICS Video Server if completed by the stated deadline. To receive credit for a videotaped lecture, access the lecture via the video server, watch the lecture, and complete the Online Lecture Make-Up Attendance Form. at http://epics.ecn.purdue.edu/forms/?formname=makeup_lecture_attendance. Please note: In order to receive credit, the make-up attendance form must be turned in within two weeks of the given lecture. Note that some lectures (e.g., the Best Practices sessions) are not videotaped. |
| Students may also earn
lecture/skill session credit by completing an Advisor
Approved Activity form. |
