The AMBI Subteam

AMBI (Assisting Mothers with Breastfeeding Issues) is a DISC subteam working with Professor Azza Ahmed (shown to right) on her project, LACTOR. LACTOR is a site created to assist mothers in low income areas with breastfeeding by allowing them to monitor their breastfeeding, providing them with medical advice, and connecting them with lactation consultants.

The website LACTOR is already in use after having been created by a previous team, and is currently in use and helping mothers. However, there are various issues with the site. The Fall 2018 team is in charge of redesigning the site. They will fix bugs and create the AMBI Android app.

The current team has 7 people from various grades, backgrounds, and majors. We combine our different strengths to make us stronger as a team.
