We are an EPICS team in Purdue that designs fun and innovative exhibits for local children's museums using cool technologies.
We love designing and building interactive exhibits for local children's museums using technologies that would invoke their curiosity in science.
· Laser Maze - A maze that uses mirrors redirect the laser to the goal
· Mars Alpha Rover - Designed to look like NASA's Curiosity Rover
· Mars Beta Rover - A more advanced version of Alpha Rover
· Weather Station - A module that collects data from the environment
Terre Haute Children's Museum
Applying new and innovative technologies, the IS team designs interactive and fun exhibits for a local children's science and technology museum.
Designed to resemble NASA's Curiosity rover, this is a version that you have at your disposal. You can explore its surroundings by controlling its motion as well as camera movement as the rover is on its adventure in a Mars-like diorama!
A more advanced version of Alpha Rover. This rover will have various terrain for the rover to explore in order to show a day's work at NASA. The rover's camera gives it many angles of visibility to ensure a fun day at Imagination Station.
A small module that collects information about the surrounding environment. Data includes temperatue, air pressure, wind speed and direction, and more. This module has solar charging capabilities in order to be completely independent.
