Promoting learning through play in children with physical disabilities

To adapt a total of 60 toys to give to the glass cooperative and find a cheaper button alternative to use for the adaptive switch.

Jessica Shockey is a Speech Therapist employed by the GLASS Cooperative of West Lafayette. She creates individualized education plans for local, West-Lafayette elementary school students with physical disabilities and varying cognitive abilities and frequently uses adapted toys in her curriculum.

Toys adapted by the TOY team are intended to be used in an educational setting by children with physical disabilities.
